With the borders closed (for good reason), it'll be another year until I get to see them again leaving me to keep day dreaming while I make iceberg paintings.

Last year, I lost 4 of my 16 native saplings in my park due to a pair of early season heatwaves.

Temperatures topped 100°F (38°C) on 4/24 and 5/6.

Very annoyed to see 100°F+ heat will return to SoCal later this week. Too damn early. Hope I don't loose any saplings.
