@katylcowan @creativeboom Also recently I’ve found that having physical inspiration helps esp as we can’t travel. Recently I bought vintage magazines and maps & it was much more inspiring than having seen them on screen.

Here’s some new digital work I did based on them.

The scales aren't present on his regular texture/albedo map but yes on his specular and normal maps. I love that they went through the trouble for something that is probably invisible in-game.

The left one was for a studio test assignment (8 hours). Since they don't own the right to this piece, I added another 10 hours to "finish" it in full render.
