I like the obvious Wario Land influence in Mario Party-e.
Some of the sprites are blatantly in the same style as the Land 4 map sprites, the Wario Balloon looks like Puffy Wario and the Wario in his Wario Car sprites (on top of him driving around in a desert) are also very Land 4
