Haven’t really had to much experience drawing reptiles but I’m pretty happy with how he turned out. Will probably end up changing how I deal with shading on his skin to make it a little more vibrant.

Drepanosaurus: genus of tree-dwelling reptiles that lived during the Triassic Era,~250-201MYA. They were insectivores & lived on coastal spots of what is modern-day Italy& midwestern USA. Discovered in 1979. They had hooked tails to aid in climbing&holding branches.

that echidnas (monotreme order of egg-laying mammals)are named after Echidna, a beast from Greek mythology who was half-woman, half-snake. This is because the animal was perceived to have qualities of both mammals & reptiles. Echidna's closes relatives are platypuses.
