Really wonder whose idea it was for Homecoming to use the movie versions of most of the returning monsters (Pyramide Head, nurses). Game even had the miner outfit cultists as an original enemy.
Did Konami ask for that to tie into the movie or did Double Helix Games do it?

Punch Lore: Sometimes cultists try to take advantage of Punch's nature by kidnapping & hypnotizing them in order to use them for rituals.

Most of the time the rituals are suspiciously kinky though, like this one with a straitjacket & an Orb of Hypnosis as the components. Weird.
