The small to medium-sized feathered carnivores referred to as ‘raptors’ in Jurassic Park are actually dromaeosaurid dinosaurs. They had deadly sickle claws on their hind feet. Please tweet your dromaeosaur drawings at us! #RTMPArtChallenge #MuseumFromHome

Irritator, a Spinosaurid who got its name from the irritating hours it took paleontologists to fix the tampered skull they got from fossil poachers.

More material of Irritator was discovered giving insight on its appearance where it even had a sail, akin to other spinosaurids. Irritator was estimated to have measured 20 to 26 feet in length and weighed 1 ton, making it a small spinosaurid. Art by @FredtheDinoman
5. For #FossilFriday here’s our first #abelisaurid for #TheSummerOfTheropods, #Majungasaurus, the “Mahajanga lizard” from Madagascar of the Cretaceous period. It’s also become probably one of my favorite theropods. Artwork by @SerpenIllus
Dodope, a Normal type that evolves into the Dark/Steel type Predoder. This line is based on dodos, dromeosaurid dinosaurs, and cavemen. To learn more about this line, check out my Instagram! #pokemon #PokemonSwordShield #pokemongo #art #fakemon
The toothy Masiakasaurus; from Late Cretaceous Madagascar. It is so far, the best known representative of the strange family of ceratosaurs known as Noasaurids. It's well known for it's gnarly, forward pointing teeth which may have been useful for grasping small prey.

And now the reconstruction itself
Juvenile Guanlong wucaii based on a nearly complete paratype specimen (IVPP V14532).
Despite being well preserved it’s not very well described but I hope it’ll change in the future

@GinaZwicky When I was in paleo research I helped describe a shuvosaurid. A little beaked, plant-eating crocodilian relative that was trying to be a dinosaur.
