I love the monster designs in Quake 1 so much, yeah there low poly as hell but I think they’re charming that way, and it kinda distorts them, adding to the lovecraft atmosphere of the game

going through the videos shows that it's no different than taking a cylinder/cube and twisting it a little bit (you could even do the other styles with low poly curves or cubes) + the texture work of the other reply could do wonders. 8k tris here ⬇️but that's w/ an outline so 4k?
