Feel lucky to have had the chance to see ’s fantastic exhibit on Ruskin, Turner & the Storm Cloud. It was visually beautiful, of course, but I was equally struck by the poetry of Ruskin’s art criticism, which I haven’t read in years and need to revisit.

People complain about the dinosaurs in Ice Age "not looking like real dinosaurs", and yet there never seems to be any criticism of modern-ish animals in the series.

It's almost like they're designed to be expressive characters, and the dinosaur community has an elitism problem.
