the way dazai reconstructed and redefined what it meant to convey and obtain the concupiscent anomalistic clearance showing us that idiosyncrasy is ebulliently inevitable while simultaneously substantiating what its meant to be the prettiest bsd character
I love this vintage drawing of Stegosaurus by Alice B. Woodward. While it doesn't align much with modern reconstructions, the obvious lizard influence makes it look almost dragon-like.

Evolution of my Ichthyovenator profile reconstructions!

You can walk around #Norfolk ‘s oldest surviving 1800 year old house at #Caister-on-Sea #Roman fort. It was built with a #Norfolk winter in mind with underfloor and wall heating. This my reconstruction illustration for on-site panel #HypocaustGate #Archaeology
For this #FossilFriday, here is the lectotype of Teleidosaurus calvadosii (J.-A. Eudes-Deslongchamps, 1866) (from the University of Caen) and the reconstruction of the corresponding specimen (University of Bordeaux, no. UB 116-11-1) #Geodiversitas 43 (6): https://t.co/rmjwYMg8KY
Some images of present day Kofun and a reconstruction of how they would have looked when new.
@XuanLuu13 @TalesofKaimere I've also tried to reconstruct a enantiornithean in a similar way
A really cool new 🦕-omorph paper just dropped! It's an awesome limb myological study/reconstruction on my favorite sauropodomorph #Thecodontosaurus by @BallellPalaeo et al. I love an agile Theco 😊 & check out that awesome reconstruction by @SerpenIllus!

@archaeoraptor super useful info! this is the reconstruction I did for the cleveland museum of natural history. I left the skull plates a bit more visible though
@paulg Absolutely. Something I rarely see mentioned in this debate is that we *do* have accurate depictions of what some of the painted sculptures looked like, thanks to Roman trompe-l'oeil in Pompeii like this one. It is indeed more subtle than most reconstructions.

i will never give up the first AI failed cuz the image res is 128x128 AI struggle to reconstruct it the second one failed cuz it was too blurry and when it confused it start coloring everything gray, this approach maybe fix it by splitting the images in half top and bottom
Admittedly, part of the reason why is many people just haven't been exposed to proper reconstructions of fluffy non-bird dinos.
They hear "feathered dinosaur" and imagine a crocodile-faced bipedal lizard with rainbow macaw feathers glued to its body, instead of stuff like this:

My first work of this year! This is lateral reconstruction of spinosaurid Riparovenator milnerae from the Early Cretaceous of Isle of Wight. It was described in same paper as Ceratosuchops inferodios. Based on @DanPalaeon1's skeletal reconstruction.
