Alright! so after my greyscale is done, then it's the fun of adding the gradient maps! those are mostly just done my feeling, tweaking things here and there, also some overlay-ed colors like the redness of the skin.

Maybe I'm confused but what exactly is inaccurate about the first photo?
If it's the gradients, I've seen lots of Black artists color thier characters this way. For example this is how plasticbottru on Webcomics do it this way
