Last night I did some quick sketches of Parasaurolophus and it’s now even thicker neck (!) based on a recently published hypothesis by et al. I need to update the Parasaurolophus in my personal library so I might develop one of these

It's called a paleo-meme when people do that. Example: giving theropod dinosaur lips or feathers. Right now, the big paleomeme for reconstructing t rex mostly fatherless and with lips.

Some love for Deinocheirus this depicted with sparse feathering (on account of its size) and a sail rather than a hump (there's no reason to think Deinocheirus had a camel-like fat store: Deinocheirus humps are an art meme, not a hypothesis).

Today’s paleo art is Deinocheirus! I feel like this dinosaur has gotten a lot more popular, especially after that documentary which is what I based this drawing off of.

also just wanted to make an excuse to show appreciation for "old" or "outdated" paleoart. sure our information on these animals has expanded over the years but you cant deny how great this shit is. it has a distinct primordial feel i cant rly describe in words.
