My grandmother isn't feeling well last time we talked. So I drew her favorite Pokémon clefairy with her favorite flowers. I was a huge Pokémon fan growing up so she knows about some of them, and her favorites were always the pink ones.

Yo creo que es porque antes del manga que conocemos estaba el de CoroCoro Comic, y ahí Red tenía un Clefairy (protagonista) como poke, aunque Pikachu también formaba parte del equipo. Pero para el anime sacaron a Pikachu solo y supongo que terminó de ganar popularidad ahí.
