i'm a fan of trans representation i would argue we need more and i don't mean characters changed to be trans. characters who are trans from the start but no one treats them differently except for a hint or two here or there. this is a great example and so is Taliyah in lol

I guess the issue with Eva's representation in the overall anime landscape is that it's put forth as a good entry level anime, while in reality it's similar to Nadesico in the fact that you appreciate it more once you understand the culture behind it's creation.
