I made a post-processing outline nodegroup for compositing. It based on script for Unity, and i screwed something with faking projection matrix up, but it works.

I take back what i said. This is too difficult difficult lemon difficult. I had to figure out the lighting and shadows so i know how where heavy/light brushstrokes go. I’ve never had to do that before and i dont wanna start the outline all over again💀

Yeah I agree. Anyway, Spongebob is coming to Smash because he is drawn with an outline around him. Line! The Smash ball has lines on it, meaning Spongebob is the next DLC fighter

I decided to play dress up again after i saw the collab is making, so i decided to dress up as Solid Snake because why not. Made sure to make a transparent version aswell, though i hope the white outline is acceptable, if not i can still remove it

I played around with this drawing last night and i feel like it helps me realize a lot of things about my art and why it looks the way it does. Might start using some darker outline.

But also, eyes are too big for my aesthetic, head could be smaller and shading needs more detail

Learned a lot trying to do this. The angle of the light source was really new to me. Made all his features smaller than they are. Still, had a blast making this. Gonna be way more strict with my outlines next time 😤

Don't normally post WIP content but this may not go anywhere and I spent some time on it last night so heck it.

I think i can match the style a lot better if I draw thicker outlines.
