Today's portrait by Vigée Le Brun is this striking painting of Marie Charlotte Louise Perrette Aglaé Bontemps, Comtesse de la Châtre, which was one of the last commissions that the artist completed before she felt compelled to leave France and go into exile in 1789.
“An albino,” Theon Greyjoy said with wry amusement. “This one will die even faster than the others.”
Jon Snow gave his father’s ward a long, chilling look. “I think not, Greyjoy,” he said. “This one belongs to me.”

10 mars 1789 : Naissance de Augustin Alexandre Thierriat, peintre français.
In 1789 French women angry at price and shortage of bread marched to Versaille and forced king Louis to return to Paris. One of the first great victories in French Revolution. Sadly like many great achievents by women in history it has been erased.
