So, I hit 1K followers! I genuinely never expected to ever hit 1K, I’m super grateful everyone let me worm my way into the paleontology community.
To celebrate, here’s a callback to my 500 follower special in the form of an updated muscle reconstruction of an elasmosaur head!

I can call myself a "professional" palaeoartist now.

While the design is inspired by the Brian Engh reconstruction, I tried my best to ensure that it isn't a complete clone. Due to this, I made the keratin sheathe of the crest rounder and smoother, and made the body black with white countershading and striping.
