There is a reason behind all these btw. They're Telegram stickers for starters, but basically as the boss, he spends a lot of time just getting the other Generals to stop bickering and fighting.

It's certainly possible that this trope is a WW2 legacy. Other villain tropes supposedly have similar origins, for example bad guys having facial "scars" might have come about from Mafia bosses and Nazi Generals having scars as well.

Linhardt: "Your turn."
They won a war, but at a greater price. The generals decided the infirmary will first treat their soldiers who suffer from more serious injuries than theirs.

Mage and Demon Queen S2E24!

They protecc, they attacc, but most importantly... THEY BACC! 🥳

It’s such a joy seeing these two again. Malori becoming Vel’s advisor, the generals treating her like family, and Vel admiring Malori... this comic give me life! 🥰

Jadeite‘s famous pose of collecting energy from sailormoon!
Out of the four generals in the dark kingdom arc, I think Jadeite is one of my favourite. He is such a pretty boy. It’s too bad he got sentenced to “eternal sleep” in the anime...

"It's not as pleasant as you think. They don't treat you like a civilian, they treat you like an item. Sometimes I wish I was more than just an accessory to these Generals, but unfortunately as a gamer I don't get respect"

You see Supermarket Generals, Social Distancing Generals, Confinement Generals, Breadline Generals and even Bedroom Generals during this dawn of the so-called new world
This tends to confirm that we are at war, so far a phony war...
