Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732-1806) painted this already at age 18. The Musical Contest is such a typical Rococo work of art. Very colorful and joyous.

Not surprisingly, Fragonard would become the best-known Rococo painter.

Fragonard's "Coresus and Callirhoë" was exhibited at the Salon in Paris where it was purchased for King Louis XV.
