A little bit on how I compose my paintings.
Two opposite golden spirals that mark focal points, sections of the painting, horizon line, flow of shapes and placement of objects.
How do you do it?

COMIC STUFF

I did a pretty substantial overhaul for the website and started sections for both characters and the world. However, the "world" section might very well need to be its own website since this is just one story based in its setting.

in case anyone wanted to know how Pumpkin does his hair. It's actually two sections laid on top of one another to fake the fluffy volume. The rest of his hair is just shaved off. If he shaved off the yellow section it'd look like a lazy mohawk :D (image to follow)

These nametags are present in both the in-game and the drawn maps. Also the Pokedex shows that Hisui's Pokedex is divided into 5 sections (Like in X and Y), so that means the world must be divided into 5 areas.
Here's my rough estimate of what the 5 areas will be.

Learning to push through the "ugly phase" of painting is the thing I'm struggling with the most, that and reminding myself that I can just paint over mistakes, instead of scrapping whole sections of a piece 😅

These new darker sections really have been making Penny more fun to draw

I decided to play some Keys charts on Clone Hero for fun with a guitar controller and on my travels I came across these two sections from entirely different songs

One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a horrible vermin. He lay on his armour-like back, and if he lifted his head a little he could see his blue belly, slightly domed and divided by arches into stiff sections.

Work-In-Progress sheep character model. Trying to get better at clothing. Tail and eyes not added yet.

I'm somewhat satisfied with this, but feel like I can do a little better on the layering. The clothing layers are currently like 5cm thick to prevent intersections, haha.

Closeup shot - you might spot faint circuit patterns around the violet-blue sections. Quite appropriate for the cosmic, eldritch AI ain't it?
