One of my favourite paintings I’ve done and my boyfriends favourite too, my gothic Queen Amidala design I did last year. Inspired by a Scribble done by Iain Mccaig who designed many of her outfits in the films. My biggest love is drawing queen Amidala and has been since I was 6!

RIP Richard Donner. These two films in particular made a huge impact upon me in my youth; a child in love with fantasy and a teen obsessed with horror. Beautifully paced and full of wonder. Wonderful work.

We pulled influences from films like The Black Cauldron, which you can see in the cauldron itself and the nod to the Horned King for the Necromancer's Lair. enjoyed leaning into more dark and brooding colour scheme in BGs surrounding the Skull.

Some cool preliminary concept art by the Canadian make-up artist Stephan Dupuis for the final "Brundlefly" monster of David Cronenberg's THE FLY (1986). Dupuis shared an Academy Award win with Chris Walas for the film.

How do fantasy films get us to believe in worlds that don't exist? By keepin' it REAL! In my latest episode, I offer my theory. Makes sense to me. Tell me if does for you, too.

I wonder if they’re gonna make parodies of other Disney films? If so, will Zane have two roles again?

Here's the legendary Bernie Wrightson's magnificent drawing of the "Norris Spider Head" from John Carpenter's THE THING (1982). The prolific horror comic book artist died in Texas, in 2017, aged 68.

From satellites in space to media moguls, oil heiresses, and well, another satellite in space! What's your favourite of the four Bond films? Has to be GoldenEye for me, it sure sent 007 into the 90s with a bang.
