hands have never made any sense to me. i put the work in, i went to art school, and i just can't get them to look right. now i trace the vague outline of my own hands, and then work on top of that by looking at my own photo reference. look at the DIFFERENCE.

Outline finished! Time to make it a reference layer and color. We start flat, of course, to save time, and then build our shading and highlights. I then create clipping masks to color the linework and test out some backgrounds.
