My favorite thing lately is just blocking in backgrounds with a chunky brush to try and get a feel for colors/tentative composition, rather than sketching it out. I'm finding it makes me stress less about details when I'm just in the planning phase of things!

I know i'm not gonna satisfied, i can't see the improvement from Aug-Dec.
As you can tell i seems too afraid to try new things like poses, and different compositions for the entire year.

I need to learn better in basic fundamentals.

I've been thinking about how I can best work on illustration commissions for quite some time
And I came to conclusion that it would be best to sketch different compositions before starting. This allows you to think through more possible options and ideas which is pretty cool imo!
