Finally did a redraw of one of my most popular illustrations.

I really enjoyed seeing how different the end result was. I still love my old version but was pleased to see how my techniques had changed and evolved over time.

Joe Macgown macro insect studies by Year 7. Focussing on the formal elements, mark making and refinement. Extended writing on the processes, techniques used and new skills learnt. Amazing work year 7 !

Finished my headshot from class101! It’s my ghost girl Shiki, I’ve honestly never been so happy with my art and really enjoyed doing this! Her class is completely worth it, I’ve already learned a lot of techniques for practicing!

Here is a WIP snippet of my latest drawing of Yolanda. I'm still figuring out techniques and rendering styles, so the way I draw is inconsistent. I've only been taking art seriously for 11 months now, but progress is steady!

This was super fun to do!! I scaled back how I usually render and I applied techniques that I learned from watching Jacquelin de Leon.

Prints and stickers of this will be available later this year! 💕

Tons of fun on this one, tried some new illustrative techniques and wasn't afraid to try some super-bright colors!

Tried out a few new coloring techniques with this one - happy with parts of it, unhappy with others, but overall I think it turned out pretty solid.
