So I'm trying to find out why it is harder for me to draw some people faces than some others. I think the reason why is certain face shape doesn't really follow their outside contour lines.

I haven't seen a tutorial or anything on how to use Abnormal, I just simply started messing with it, managed to move the shadows around. Although I'm guessing the contours of the quads should be where the shadows would be, thus running into probs.

In the past, I probably would have stopped here. But to crank things up a notch, I begin the process of rendering, which starts with subtly coloring my lineart to match the part of the body it is contouring. Often, pure black is too harsh and should be avoided for rendering. 7/9

Queenie just wants to get out, but one of the other Cards is like, well I may as well kill Batman since I'm here. So she shoots him, which confuses the hell out of Batman. ... also can I note that the ears on his cowl are actually still ears, like Kane does draw ear contours.

Lining up the names along the contour of her hair and using the little green shard present on the JP cover as a pseudo-bullet point ended up making things look pretty great. Especially considering that we had to heavily adjust things from JP vertical into EN horizontal.
