FUNGUARY WEEK 2: ‘Mystical’
I wasn’t so sure about this drawing as I’m so used to drawing mushies out in the wild in the grass amongst flowers etc but this one’s a lil change of scenery! But I do really enjoy the bright colours against the dark cave palette 🍄

Two Women Dancing (1928) by Jeanne Mammen for today's #OnlineArtExchange in celebration of LBGTQ+ History Month. Mammen's watercolours are sensitive & intimate, showing the beauty & glamour of 1920s Nollendorf, a Berlin neighbourhood, still at heart of the LBGTQ+ community today.
Another of our new works by Henry Holiday, a watercolour, "Sara, belle d'indolence," 1879. Dennis T. Lanigan calls it "an exercise in pure Aestheticism". Something of Walter Crane in it? https://t.co/4Mr9pgClNk
and more 2020 stuff
