It’s #WorldWildlifeDay. Wildlife is one of my favourite subjects, so here’s a thread of some of my work. Not all of it is conventionally realistic - this jade rabbit was inspired by the critically endangered riverine rabbit, endemic to the semi-desert regions of South Africa.
For my first #sundayfishsketch, say hi to Petrus rupestris, (or the red steenbras,) a relatively large but rare fish belonging to the family of sea breams and porgies. This species is endemic to South Africa but is now unfortunately endangered due to overfishing.
Sprigatito also could be inspired by Iberian lynx, a species of carnivorous mammal, endemic to the Iberian Peninsula, internationally known for its recovery after being critically endangered at the beginning of the 21st century.
Just bought this Endemic Punk on @Endemic_nft.

Bagong poster na ilalabas ko, kahit baka magbago pa isip ko sa title. 😅 Inspired ito sa nakita kong meme na "educational background", literal nakadikit sa background sa pader. Haha.
