I will never forgive society for letting MirrorMask (2005 film) bomb in the box office. We got a goth clown adventure movie, in a surrealist environment, with some of the coolest character and prop designs, done by the Jim Henson company, written by Neil Gaiman, and it flopped.

Y'know, Jim Henson (happy birthday!) decided at some point that he would be a frog puppet guy as his contribution to the world and he made zillions of people happy. Not by curing a disease or building a rocket or writing the Greatest Book. Frog puppet. This is inspiring to me.
