@ElliotCowanYes In fact, The Hobbit (1977) pretty much set the tone for the late 70's/early 80's in general with the murky color palettes, dark fairy tale atmosphere, and Arthur Rackham influence echoing in the work of Don Bluth, Ralph Bakshi, Jim Henson, and even Disney itself (by the mid 80's)
