It was an excellent cash-grab at doing a Marble Madness clone. I had it on the C64, and played it a fair bit. Unfortunately it was just as broken and impossible to play as the ZX Spectrum one -- sometimes re-spawning you just off the track, in a spot that kills you over and over.

Game Ending

Dylan Dog: Gli uccisori -

This game has surely an ambitious ending! And reaching it is surely a pain..
Simulmondo was an Italian software house from Bologna.
It has produced ~150 games for C64, Amiga, PC and Atari ST.

It was one of the first ones I played when I got the A500. So I was amazed at the full overscan loading pic. 😮 It even supports analogue stick (but I don't think there's a way to calibrate, which is a shame.) And after F-15 and Stealth Fighter on the C64, I was right at home. 😁

Late last year I did try out all three, as I'd only ever played the absurdly cruel (but undeniably pretty) C64 version up until that point. 😁 I'd heard the Amstrad version was pretty good, so I thought "what the heck" and tried out all three. Verdict: C64, still pretty/cruel. 😋

I like it when they use the high-res 'monochrome' graphic modes. Not a common thing on the C64, but when it's done well it looks *really* good..

Saw this and it looks fun to join. "These were the games that got me into games as a kid." (Dates from year I played them.)

The Search for Sharla. Planned for multiple platforms including + and advertised for months.

A cancelled ambitious cross between Lords of Midnight and Dungeon Master. Only end sequence + novella is currently preserved.

Back at pixelwork for Rabenstein. Here is a little surprise for you. The Plus/4 version of Rabenstein will not use Multicolor images ported from C64, instead I'll be using the native HiRes format, which allows me to implement the whole palette with 121 colours.

Not only did port many titles to the they also released many original titles. These are some I am familiar with, but there are several more I’d like to dive into someday.

Featuring some of the highest production values witnessed on the Creatures remains a standout game for the system. Technical excellence, artistic polish, and a mischievous sense of humour coalesce to form something special indeed.

Of the many coin-op conversions to hit the Midnight Resistance is one of the very best. Special FX crammed in everything from the arcade, and came up with a simplified control scheme that just worked superbly well!

Of the many platform games available on Flimbo's Quest remains one of my favourites. created a game that was great to watch and listen to, and is highly accessible! It's also full of secrets, hidden from plain view...
