I think my absolute favorite art growing up was from the Spiderwick chronicles. Tony DiTerlizzi‘s ability to make fantasy creatures feel real and part of our world really influenced how I view the world and how I draw.

Tony DiTerlizzi's art for the Planescape setting is superb. That guy can do things with a pencil that would turn your hair, well, pencil-colored.
it’s hard to pick one design from spiderwick chronicles to feature. that’s tony diterlizzi for you! but I find myself especially attached to the goblins. bats and frogs are odd animal choices that still feel distinctly “gobliny” and they’re just so raggedy and charming.

@ThePlanarDM Likewise. Between that one and the image that appeared in Planes of Conflict, DiTerlizzi made the baernaloths genuinely horrific. Favorite fiends in D&D. It's a shame that basically nothing has been done with them since 3.x (part of which was mine).
