Edmontosaurus was part of a group of dinosaurs called the Hadrosaurs. One species, E. regalis, sported a fleshy “crest”! We have many well-preserved specimens of this charming dino, even possibly preserving their patterning!

Hadrosaurs, eh? For Dinovember last year I drew an Edmontosaurus with speculative hooves, as well as my very favourite dino of all time, Parasaurolophus. 💚

There’s been a lot of good talk about chonky dinosaurs lately but there’s been a big oversight: hadrosaurs!!! They were basically the cows of dinosaurs, just big grazing machines. Most reconstructions shrink wrap them but they could have been REAL fat. Oh lord he comin.

ANOTHER article on hadrosaurs - so-called 'duckbilled - and it's a book review that's overdue by about 4 years, whoops. Better late than never. This is part 1... https://t.co/OegoFvhKEX cc

I NEVER draw hadrosaurs. Shame, they’re such pretty animals. The majestic ungulates of the dinosaur world.
