1/ Austrian artist and graphic designer Koloman Moser was one of the main artists of the Vienna Secession.

After Pickens served as Minister to Russia, the family settled at Pickens’ plantation, Edgewood. As owners of 276 slaves, they were strong supporters of slavery and secession. He was made Governor three days before South Carolina seceded.

To say that Confederate pride is "Heritage not Hate" is a complete re-writing of history. Slavery was unambiguously the main determinant in the vote to secede. Southerners who didn't own slaves largely voted against secession.
