It's amazing how long it takes me to draw like this, for results I don't even like that much... Let me know if you have tips #twinbee #NotMyFavoriteOfArtStyles
In Ganbare Goemon 2 SFC, some of the houses throughout the game contain other well-known Konami characters. These include Simon Belmont from Castlevania, Sparkster from Rocket Knight Adventures, Pastel from TwinBee, and Gillian Seed from Snatcher.
In Ganbare Goemon 3, Shiori from Tokimeki Memorial runs the future quick travel station while Pastel from TwinBee runs the quick travel station in the past.
The last giveaway sketch, Pastel from Twinbee for @karu_184! Since it's his birthday I made it into a full illustration!
I've learned about Pastel from Twinbee and I ADORE this design. This might be a new top 5. Its so cute

@nellucnhoj In fact, Twinbee's design didn't get fully realized until a year after DA! with Detana!! Twinbee, which redesigned his arcade-design from the groundup to be more anthropomorphic and feature teenager pilots - who Japanese would come to love fondly during the series' golden era.
@nellucnhoj However, back during the release of Parodius DA!, Twinbee-series was still in early legs and experimented with the series on NES via two games - hence why Twinbee's design seemed to get inconsistent as a whole (See Stinger and Japan-only Twinbee 3)
@nellucnhoj Actually it's not that intentional, but the reasons for it is even more stranger:
- The artist drawing Twinbee as the "Rocket Shite" you're referring to is actually taken from how Twinbee was portrayed on artworks of Parodius DA (hence featured on this Kelloggs-card)
