Yeah. The 16-bit versions looked pretty: big colourful graphics. But the animation was so smooth on the C64 version, and the gameplay just felt better somehow. (Though I'm bound to think that, as the C64 version was the first one I played.) 😁

Bought a complete collection of "Sam's Strip" this week, published by Fantagraphics. Co-created by Mort Walker, it's a VERY meta strip about comics.

I love it, personally. The best of the Walker strips IMO. Alas, the strip didn't do as well and was canned after 2 years.
