I'd much rather celebrate him on his birthday, but this year is a bit of a milestone. It was 30 years today that we lost my hero, Jim Henson. His creative spirit runs like a thread through every thing I do.

Spotlight on Fizzgig, from Jim Henson’s THE DARK CRYSTAL (1982). Has to be my favorite character from the movie. The indestructable Fizzgig later made a brief appearance as a cave monster in Fraggle Rock.
