A lirei (basically the rodents in one of my worlds) from Spring 2020 I think! The model itself is a little wonky, but I got the shaders to work the way I wanted :D

The shader templates are getting subsurface scattering.
But this isn't the "Subsurface Scattering" that most other shaders use. This is a "proper" implementation of SSS.

I will also be adding transmission, which is more what we have seen before.

Worked on shaders in unity for the first time, and combined them with rain particles. Used a painting from last year along with my own painted rain shader/maps

Completed the first course of lots of recapping and getting to know of some hotkeys that I never used before XD

you know how im trying to figure out how to make my 3d models look like my 2d art? I played with a certain renderer and shaders and man.. it's toughhh this is nice but its not perfect and i might have to look for diff solutions..

Metallics can be difficult with Eevee toon shaders because you can't have them properly reflect the world in most setups (for technical and/or stylistic reasons.) You can make them more interesting by matcaping a procedural texture to fake some reflections.
