It’s a simplified art style so it’s not a surprising process like painterly styles are, but I like looking back at some of the ideas I tried. It wasn’t right for this drawing, but I like the screen print offset look here and these Maro faces are funny hah.

So was porting the water shader to LWRP and found out that if you take the depth blend (with scene depth and stuff), if you offset the mesh (to make waves for example), the depth blend goes with the mesh, it just doesnt care about the rest, so it moves with the mesh

New thread, next character! It's Ya Boi Kouta and his sword, the wind deity Shinatobe!

Kouta is also a serious-boy, but this is offset by Shinatobe who has a very teasing and haughty nature. Despite her age, she's also quite trendy!

Kouta uses a quick-drawing iaijustsu stye!

Based on feedback of the notes spawning too close, the old Seven Doors (Trinity Seven Opening) map has been deleted and replaced with an updated version.

The new version has 0.5 offset which should make the map more readable.

A no reference not serious sculpt. I wanted to test a new workflow in Blender to help offset the fact that you can't get into the tens of millions of polygons without it chugging.

Its basically just using remesh as Dynamesh from zbrush, and then dynamic topo for details
