recently i've been exploring using gradient maps to supply evocative color without actually getting down and dirty in the color mines. on the left is how the page looks with a gradient map, and on the right is how it's "really" colored with the gradient turned off:

i'm experimenting with gradient maps. depends on the type/color of gradient, it can make a drawing have cool effects

I'm overhauling some of the oldest maps in the game at the moment. The Hub town was always meant to be an old, disgusting place. But that never really came across until now. So I added more trash, litter and some graffiti and barred off windows. Might add more soon.
