I believe the remaster rumor was just because of the crossover with Another Eden. I did download a texture pack though and play Cross recently with upscale graphics!

This combination of platforming, collecting, and beat ‘em up-ing is an absolute beauty. Like Lode Runner, graphics and sound are functional, but the design and gameplay are outstanding. A stone-cold classic.

The Amstrad is a good machine. It seems to be getting a second-life in these retro days. 👍

I did like the Speccy version too.. It was pretty good. Someone has even done a "re-imagined" version of it with lots of new graphics. 😎
