honestly it reminds me of the beautiful old engravings by artists like Albrecht Dürer (seen below), and really captures the medieval/historic feel of the series (speaking as an outsider)

Hard to choose, but I've loved The Chamber Idyll by Edward Calvert since art college. I've been lucky enough to see an original print alongside the actual engraving block. It's smaller than a credit card and is one of the most exquisite, sensual pieces of art I know.
