2 dragons, 2 predators, 2 prey, but only 3 peeps.
Here are some trade/collabs I did with @RathalosThe featuring him, my dragon biz, and myself X3
🥩🦷Doll 02: Hunter🦷🥩
"Inherently feral by their design, Hunters are built similar to Master Lucas himself, but never to the point of pure perfection. They stalk and seek their targets, but unlike predators, the prey becomes a part of them...literally."-Dolly
Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles are the largest aerial predators in Glacier National Park! Artwork by @strongstufftom! #ourparks #fiftynineparks #nationalparks
Motmot dragons present the most interesting shift from a bird that was mostly prey to larger animals into a dragon that hunts for larger creatures. It uses its tail to lure in its predators, but instead of fleeing last minute it attacks with its barbed, venomous beak.
Owls are true Apex predators...they don't take no shit.

Aorba gente, bão?!

Today is #WifeAppreciationDay! Let's talk about #allofeeding!
When the female is incubating, songbird males find food and feed it to her! 😉 This helps her not have to run back and forth, and is also good for the chicks, since there's no chance of predators discovering the nest!

“Umber hulks are subterranean predators, preying on young purple worms, anhkhegs, and similar monsters. Their favorite prey is humans.” (Erol Otus, AD&D Monster Cards Set 2, TSR, 1982) https://t.co/424TngYeAt
This #FossilFriday: announcing the return of https://t.co/OugaMQ6iQi with a new carcharodontosaurid from Uzebkistan!

@macca_the_dm Also I praise the game too much as it is but Mouse Guard is great because it's not just "D&D but with mice", it actually builds the nature of being a mouse into the culture of the game and really immerses you in their unique struggles. Pathfinding, food collection, predators etc.
Firechidna, to deter predators, it heats up the spines on its back until they burst into flames.
I'm thinking of calling the Australia based region"Ozauria". What do you think?

My first creature for #Spectember is the Butcher Fowl, or Megagalli pogo ("big dagger fowl"). These descendants of feral chickens have become large predators, similar to secretary birds. Males are mostly solitary but females live and hunt together in small groups.
WIP. Aaaand in blue. I don't get the coloration for blue dragon's in the codex/art. They are airborne desert predators so their backsides should be drab for camo and their bellies sky blue for flight camo. Doing 5/5 for the pack. 5 dragons and 5 dragon kin. CHROMATIC

Beach day with your big loving chee chee to protecc you from predators AND provide (boob) shade? ^w^
What more could a mousie ask for? x3
Adorable gift/request art from my friend @PhilFox14 <333333
Discussing cool animal design with my partner. Speculative Evolution is one hell of a fascinating subject and I had a recovered memory about seeing this illustration (evolved rats as apex predators) in the book “After Man” by Dougal Dixon. Gonna try and find it again!
Crassarest
Type: Steel/ Water
It is inspired by Cardisoma crassum, a chest and Costa Rica's colours.
Crassarest inhabits the coasts searching for pearls and some ores to feed on. It usually sleeps underground to hide from predators.

Meet the Jade Rockhead!
The Crystal Drake
These beasts secrete a jelly-like substance from the skin on the heads and backs. When exposed to air it hardens into a crystalline structure. They use this crystal carapace to protect themselves from larger predators.
