So I finished Kingdom Hearts 2 today. Single handily one of the best RPGs I've ever played, no, one of the best games I've ever played. Brilliant story, brilliant gameplay and brilliant characters. After finishing KH2, the KH series is now in my top 5 favourite series of all time

Back in 2009 Sega made a sonic level creator flash game for their SEGAplay service, it may be lost to time because I can't find anything on it other than a few articles, but as you can see it had fully original sprites, there is gameplay but not of the level editor it seems

January: Utawarerumono: Prelude to The Fallen

Fantastic story with a solid cast of characters and fleshed out dynamics. I don't think it has anything groundbreaking to say but it's a wonderful emotional experience. Gameplay gets rather stale by the end but its alright. 8/10

I agree, it's just that a lot of aspects were based off of the original, like with the whole X on the chest, the discs and the Cult of X concept, and also the scrapped final design for PC Port X.

But yea, gameplay and anesthetics are where things are different between the two.

The presentation and music are a large part of the charm. Square really learned a lot on how to make good, cinematic 3D setpieces around the PS1 era and combined that with solid STG gameplay.

Also the player ship is totally memorable to me. It's got a unique silhouette

Anyone else remember Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi? I remember being so hyped when seeing the trailers, but then I got it and the visuals were fantastic, but the gameplay... Was not 😬 What's your opinion on this one?
