weird trends in mythology
- blue skin (association w/ water and heavens?)
- ppl holding up the sky (myth cross-contamination, I'm guessing)
- non-blood liquid turning blood-red (associations w/ red silt of the nile? occurs in christianity/islam/judaism/egypt myths)

Sita, apart from the divine diety that she is worshipped as, is equally human!
And this aspect somewhat gets diluted in te mainstream mythology scriptures.

Yet, mythology in India, can never be static!
It keeps on reinventing itself, and gets constantly re-interpreted🌻

I have been reading about Sita a lot!
A LOT!
While the conventional mythology, as depicted in Valmiki's Ramayana or the Ramcharitamanas, portrays Sita as The Goddess who embodies ideal womanhood;
The local versions of her tale present a more humanly and compelling story!
