Fun little thing: finding a style for the sprites of characters in Elequest was tough!
Wanted something that looked suitably accurate to the chars while still looking appealing.

In the end I modelled them after looking at Mario and Luigi: SSS and Final Fantasy 6 (pics 2 and 3)

Next up are the brutes of the box, the Kosargi Nightguard. Now we're rwally stepping into the border of europe and asia. They are modelled on Cossacks, enlightenment era. Ogors have always had an eastern nomadic influence, and the Kosargi fit into that. The coat and cummerbund!
