Ok, instead of color, went for shading and will probably do a color overlay or Gradient map thing. Not sure. I'm never sure. I change the way I color every single time.

4. Then go add details and define where you want the hard shadows to be. If more lights come to play in the lighting, adjust the light/shadow ratio.

Tip: I like to use the selection tool and gradients to do my shading.
