i do concept sketch turnarounds before texturing, as one can see not everything can translate to the final product. my only sadness abt my bee is that i couldnt get a hexagonal pattern onto the eye without it looking weird or resorting to hand-drawing it

I used Blender for modeling it in 3D. helped me a lot about blender. (I usually use C4D for 3D program, so I'm not used to Blender )

I took a break from Blender, picking it back up again almost a year after my first sculpting attempt. I'm surprised to recall that this one did not involve a sculpting phase, as it was a mix of pure poly-modeling and adjustments with the sculpting tools, still no rig or texturing
