Saddened to here that co-creator & illustrator of has passed away. met writer & editor René Goscinny in 1951, collaborating on many projects together. In 1959 they introduced Asterix to the world. Loved the reading the books when I was younger. RIP ✏

Asterix was my first introduction to the ancient world and Roman history. In my mind’s eye when I see Caesar, he still has a little of Albert Uderzo’s design. They were some of my most beloved reads as a child - not just as comics, but in general. Read all I could find. RIP.

Heute ist Uderzo, der letzte der beiden Asterix-Väter verstorben.
Ich hab ihn nie persönlich kennengelernt, aber zumindest habe ich vor ein paar Jahren bei einer Preisverleihung mal hinter ihm gesessen.
