A lot of hard work went into fixing many aspects of the novel, and more improvement is still to come! If you've already read the novel long ago I highly recommend giving it another go.

Oh and Smol Ali appears in chapter 7, so you know what to work toward ya simps.🥺💜

Probably some of the best art I’ve seen in awhile. Love the game aspect too, and I was a sucker for the cartridge pre-reveal having grown up on an old school Nintendo.

like digidevils this is a magic/tech based species, similar in many aspects, but this species is more "hardware/mechanical" based, giving them a more robotic appearance, ill make a full ref in a while

this question plagued me for such a long time, the most useful tip I found is to see what aspects of other artist’s style that you find appealing and incorporating that into your artwork. Eventually with enough time I happened to fall into a groove that I was comfortable with! -

test5 has slightly more training images than 1.3.0, and the output is close to 1.3.0, but degraded.
In 1.3.0, I did a 512x512 cropping step, but in test5 I did not do that, but used aspect ratio bucketing.
Maybe the same procedure with the exact same dataset would reproduce 1.3.0
