I just use the default 6B pencil and a custom one for pretty much everything!! My trick is just to overpaint everything once you sketch the subject and add base color+basic shading! I hope this helps my explanation!

I overpainted the Netflix She-Ra, I wanted it to look modern but still have more elements of the old one. Also, it bothers me how amateurish it looks, the style looks like a bad attempt to imitate anime, you notice especially in their transformation aka Sailor Moon.

I hope you don't mind if my overpaint, it's much easier to show how to make him more orcish this way! The typical Warcraft Orc has a very pronounced jawline/mouth and receding forehead. As an Ally I would say they look a bit dumb ;D
