I WENT SO LONG RARELY WORKING WITH LAYERS but I use layers for all my sceneries like this now. I always divide them up like this too. Ground/sky on bottom, distant background stuff above that, midground and key objects above that, and then foreground at the top

Happy so share the final result of a private comission I received depicting the clients Pathfinder character, a Tiefling Paladin.
